Favourite Radio Satation

Listening to the radio is a good way to relax for me. I live so far away form the university of Calgary. You know, the university station is the third station from D, and my station is the third station from Somerset. Moreover, I have to take a bus after I get off the C-train. So it takes me almost more than two hours to " travel" everyday. It is boring for me to sit still on the bus or on the C-train. And it is not good for me to read books on them. Of cause listening to the radio becomes my favorite.

Here I want to introduce two radio station for you. One is 98.5 music station, the other one is 99.1 CBC news. Maybe you have already know them. I just want to say I really like them. let's talk 98.5 music station. I hear ed a lot of popular songs from it. Like Unlove You, Tattoo and so on. When I first hear ed these songs, which I am interested in. I remembered the time when them were played. Then after going back home, I found the names of those songs on the 98.5 stations web sit. If I like, I can download them, either.

In addition, I like 99.1 too. When I want to practise my listening skill, I will listen to it. Because it not just reports news. it also includes some interesting conversations. While I am entertaining, I am practising my listening skill. That's cool!

When you have time to kill, maybe you can have a try. I hope you like them.

I don't listen to the Canadian radio but I do listen to the Dutch radio through internet! I know it is a good way to improve your listening skills, but listening to the Dutch radio keeps me up to date of the things going on in my country. They also play a lot of English music, I even think 80% of the songs will be in English. Anyways, have fun with your radio station!
