The End

As the deadline becoming earlier, today is the due date. I want to write the last blog this semester.

This is the first time for me to open a blog. Before, I didn't like writing blog. I don't like put my experience or feelings in public. But now, my mind has been changed. Maybe it is a good way to relax yourself. It is tired for self to carry everything. Friends' comments will be lights when you miss your way. Their way of viewing will have good effects, either. I would like to continue.

I am happy to meet a lot of friends in Level Two. And some of them will still be my classmates. Instructors and students stay together everyday. We become familiar with each other. I am sad to say good bye to this class. I would like to remember everything happens during this two month. It is a precious experience for me.

Best wishes to Regina, Zalfa and all classmates.

The final exam is coming

Time flies!

I have stayed in Calgary about three month. I still can remember the day when I arrived here clearly. Everybody was busy with celebrating the Christmas Day. The ground was covered with snow. I can remember the first time when I stepped into the EA P's classroom. See different classmates from different countries and cultures. I remember that every student get on well with each other. I remember instructors were working hard on every class. I remember that classmates and I were struggling with the marks, especially writing. But now they have already become history.

As the final exam is coming. Both instructors and students are all crazily busy. We have a pile of things to deal with. Student's have to well prepared with Final Presentation, essay two, blog and quiz. Instructors are busy with dealing our problems, either. But I am sure that we have already stepped into another English Level.

Even though it is not easy, but we can reach it. I hope everyone can do well in the final exam.

April Fool's Day

Do you know the origin of April Fool's Day?

As it was called years ago. All Fool's day is observed in many countries around the world.

The origin of April Fool's Day remain clouded in obscurity. But what is clear is that the tradition of a day devoted to foolery had ancient roots. As we look back in time, many ancient predecessors of April Fool's Day are found.

I used to think that it is a western celebration. But today I notice that seldom people make jokes with each other. I remember that when I was in high school. April Fool's Day was really funny.

We played jokes a lot in that day. Last year, I remember, one of my friend told me that Math teacher was finding me. So I rushed to my teachers office to see if there was something important. But when I arrived, my teacher looked me and said "they were playing jokes, you are not the first one" So embarrassed! Some of them make "cookies"too. They put Colgate in the middle of two cookies and said they are delicious. But when people ate it, I could see their red faces. We enjoyed ourselves that day.

What a interesting festival!

Almost there

It is March 26, 2008 today. We will graduate from Level Two soon.

I have to say that we have so much homework. Assignments, Projects and Quizes all suddenly appeared. My head is full of these. I feel tired.

When I wear ed, a word always come to my mind------ Almost there.

Have you ever gone hiking? Don't you think it is hard for you to forgot the experience? I think the element which made the travel unforgettable is not the beautiful scenery, but the real experience. At first, you will feel thrill to go hiking. You are so exiting to feel tired. Maybe one hour later, you will feel wear ed; you want to stop and go back. while you have already near the top, it is the most hard time. Because you can't go back, but you don't wanna carry on. At this time you should force yourself to go on hiking.

When I go hiking, it is the word push me to go on. Almost there, yes, the top is almost there. You will catch it as you are carrying on.

Now I am exhausted from studying. But I can't give up since the goal is almost there.

Tibet

On Friday, when I sat in the C-train, I saw there were many people paraded near the Chinese embassy. After I saw the word Tibet on their sign, I know their theme was Free Tibet.

I felt ridiculous and angry.

I felt ridiculous because there was even no people who have black hair among them. No they
really know what were they doing. It is possible that they even didn't know what really happened in Tibet China.Their action was meaningless.

I felt angry not because the parade in Calgary, but the Tibetan. There is no doubt that they are Chinese. I think most foreigners don't know the fact that Tibet can't survive without other provinces' support. As it located near the Himalayas Mountain. Seldom plants can be cultivated there. Tibetan commodity are all come from other provinces. Moreover, how can they do this during the special time. As we all known, China will held 2008 Olympic Games this summer. Every Chinese is thrill and work hard on it. How can they make trouble at this time. They must feel guilty.

As well as Taiwan, Tibet is Chinese land, nobody can change it.

Snow

"When I was younger I loved the snow, out in it all day long never had so much fun. Tel my hands where cold and num----- Slipping and sliding, always snow ball fighting snow was so much fun----- Now the years have gone bye, we don't have has much snow as we we used to do. Everyone just shakes their heads and say, that's global warming for you----- But now I am glad you see, because snow is no longer fun I just keep falling on my bum----- Where has my balance gone, I don't remember falling quite so much when I was young----- "

As out the window, I look, is snowing. Snow is falling down from sky. Memory is falling down all around me. This is the second time I see snow on March. Snow seldom falls on March in my home town.

Three years ago, I was a young girl who loves snow very much. Snow fell heavily on a Wednesday. It was thrill for me, and I rushed to the play ground and started making snow balls. Without having gloves, warm cloth and shoes, I didn't feel cold. My girl friends were with me too. Just in several minutes, we had made a pile of snow balls. We started to using snow balls to fight with boys. At first we separate into two groups, one threw, another made snow balls. But boys divided us. Moreover, they made several groups to chase us. When they catched us, they pulled us down and pushed snow on our bodies. Laughter, screams and cries filled all campus.

Now, I am far away form them, far away from 15. I won't go back to that time. I won't get exhausted because of playing with snow. Me is different from me at that time, even though I don't want change. Now I understand why my grand parents always say they envy me.

Snow, you used to be so much fun when I was young. But now just a pain to me…
